She was named one the most popular teen celebs of the year in the July 2003 issue of Vanity Fair. In 2004 Vega had completed two movies: Sleepover and State's Evidence. In the Lifetime television film Odd Girl Out as a cyberbully, she starred in the year 2005. In 2006, she starred in another made-for-TV movie, Walkout; and finished filming Remember the Daze, which was released in limited theaters on April 7, 2007. Repo was shot and completed. The Genetic Opera was released in the year 2008 Aram Rappaport wrote and directed Helix and Helix in Chicago. The production began March of 2008. She was initially cast in Robert Rodriguez's 2009 Robert Rodriguez film Shorts. Due to the fact that she was travelling to Australia for filming Broken Hill, the role of Vega from Shorts needed to be changed. She was replaced by Kat Dennings. She was a part of Broadway in Hairspray and as Penny. Then, in 2009, she portrayed Ruby Gallagher on the ABC Family TV show, Ruby & the Rockits, which also starred Patrick and David Cassidy. Vega is Wick on The Devil's Carnival (2012) directed by Darren Lynn Bousman, and Terrance Zdunich. The two previously worked together with Vega on Repo! The Genetic Opera. The Genetic Opera. Vega starred throughout 2012 in 2br/1ba, directed by Rob Margolies, a thriller produced by Rob Margolies, with Spencer Grammer as well as Kathryn Morris. Vega starred also in The Pregnancy Project on Lifetime Channel and completed her animated feature The Clockwork Girl. The movie Vega was in, The Mine, which was produced in 2010 saw only a screening and release. Vega was the voice of Christina on the animated show Unsupervised as well as having role on Royal Pains. Vega voiced the character of the young heroine on Aerosmith's song video "Legendary Children". [13]
