Suzanne Pleshette

SuzanneSuzanne Pleshette, born 31 January 1937, who died 19 January 2008, was an American film theatre, television and voice actor. Pleshette began her acting career in the theatre and was a part of films in the late 1950s. She later appeared in notable films like Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (1963), or Spirited Away (192001). Later, she appeared in a variety of television productions, often in guest roles. She also she was Emily Hartley on The Bob Newhart Show from 1972 to 1978, and received several Emmy Award nominations for her work. Pleshette was the daughter of Geraldine (nee Kaplan), and Eugene Pleshette. She was born in Brooklyn Heights, New York City on the 31st of January, 1937. Her parents were Jewish and were the children of immigrants from Russia and Austria-Hungary.Her mother was an artist and dancer who performed on stage under the name Geraldine Rivers. Her father was a stage manager at the Paramount Theater in Manhattan and the Paramount Theater in Brooklyn,
